Two Ways We Treat Thinning Hair
Both work on the scalp itself rather than on the hair you can see.
PRP injections
Platelet rich plasma is prepared from a small sample of your own blood, concentrated, and injected into the areas of the scalp being treated. Because it is made from your own blood, nothing is introduced that did not come from you.
Microneedling to the scalp
Fine needles make controlled micro injuries across the scalp. The injuries are the point: the skin's repair response is what the treatment is recruiting, and it is directed at the tissue the hair grows from.
Choosing Between Them
Which One Depends On How Far It Has Gone
The extent of the hair loss is what decides between the two. That is a clinical judgement rather than a preference, and it is made in person after your provider has looked at your scalp.
So it is not a choice you need to arrive having made. If you have read about one of them and want to ask, ask, but the useful conversation is about what is actually happening to your hair.

Hair Loss Is Not One Condition
Several different things cause hair to thin, and they do not behave the same way or respond to the same treatment. Some are driven by hormones, some follow an illness or a period of stress, some run in families, and some are a side effect of something else going on in the body.
That matters more than it sounds. Two people can describe their hair loss in identical words and be dealing with completely different processes, which is why working out which one is happening comes before treating it.

The assessment is mostly conversation, and the detail is what makes it useful. Come prepared to talk about:
What you have noticed, where on your scalp, and roughly when it started
Whether it came on gradually or quickly, and whether it has changed pace
Your medical history, any recent illness, and the medications you take
Whether anyone else in your family has experienced the same pattern
What you have already tried, including anything bought over the counter
If you have older photographs of yourself, bring them. A picture from a few years ago is often more informative than anything either of us can say about the change.

What We Will Not Promise
Nobody can promise you regrowth. What is realistic depends on what is causing the loss and on how long it has been going on, and any clinic quoting you an outcome before they know either of those things is selling rather than treating.
Some causes of hair loss need medical attention that sits outside what a medical spa does. If that is what your provider sees, they will tell you so and point you toward the right kind of care, because treating around a problem helps nobody.
You may also be told that the honest answer is to wait and watch. That is a real answer, and you will hear it if it applies.
